At the event site, entertainment will be more robust with performances from local bands, and Rainier Agility Team will be back with a dog agility course you can run Fido through! Throughout the day, enter contests to show off your pet’s talents, shop dozens of premier vendors, and sample delicious eats with a percentage of proceeds going towards the Humane Society’s mission.

You and your animal companion can walk off lunch with a jaunt around beautiful Waughop Lake. Treat and water stations are sprinkled along the way so that you and your leashed dog, cat, or rabbit stay hydrated.

Don’t have a pet? Never fear! The Society will also open late on July 28th so that more kittens, dogs, and rabbits will be available for adoption at Paws in the Park!

Paws in the Park remains the Humane Society’s largest fundraising event with this year’s goal to raise more than $325,000. The event helps the Humane Society care for almost 12,000 animals each year. Donations raised provide vital support for innovative programing, fostering under-aged litters of puppies, kittens, and bunnies, treatment and rehabilitation for victims of cruelty, veterinary care for injured animals, and many other services in the community.
