The Requiem (Mixed Choir)is an a cappella work, only about 20 minutes in length by British composter Herbert Howells. It’s very intricate, gorgeous harmonies create an ethereal experience with a truly unique sound. “It is Happiness” (Chorale) is an energetic piece, featuring a string quartet, by local Washington composer Joan Szymco. We hope you can join us for this concert featuring these two amazing works.
